Providing the website
The website is hosted by STRATO. When you visit, your browser sends technically necessary data to the web server. This includes, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested address, browser and operating system information and, where applicable, the page you previously visited.
This processing serves to deliver the website and keep it operating securely. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in providing this service securely and reliably. STRATO states that it stores IP addresses for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks. Further information is available in STRATO’s privacy notice.
Language preference
If you choose a language using DE/EN, the value “de” or “en” is saved under “18to36-language” in your browser’s local storage. This allows the website to remember your language choice on future visits. Selecting a language automatically based on your browser language does not save a language preference. You can change your choice using DE/EN or remove it by clearing the website’s data in your browser.
Optional beta statistics and the rest of the website
On the beta page, you can voluntarily consent to usage statistics collected by us. No statistical events are recorded without this consent. Details are available under Optional beta statistics. There are no analytics tools on the other pages. We do not use advertising trackers. Fonts are supplied by your device. Images, stylesheets and scripts are delivered with the website. Videos, maps or social media content from external providers are not automatically embedded.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message to respond to your enquiry. For enquiries relating to a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is in handling your enquiry. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

The app privacy policy and Help & contact are provided on this website. The documents are also available to download as a privacy PDF (German version) and a help PDF (German version).
The App Store and TestFlight are operated by Apple. The website only establishes a connection to Apple or other externally linked providers when you open the relevant link. The respective provider’s privacy notice applies to processing on those pages.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, as well as data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.
